This post is showcasing Barber’s Breaded Chicken’s frozen meals. It is easy to get a meal on the table in just over 30 minutes. While the Breaded Chicken with Broccoli & Cheese was baking in the oven, I was preparing some Creole Vegetables and some Red Beans and Rice. These side dishes need to be strong on there own because the the chicken dish has a lot of flavor.

Barber Chicken & Creole Vegetables
My Creole vegetables used edamame, peas, corn and red peppers. This vegetable dish was both a good compliment to the chicken and added some great color. I love Cajun food. I added additional Cajun flavor and texture with my red beans & rice. To bring these flavors together more, I took some of the gravy from the red beans and rice and added it to my vegetables. Both of these sides worked well with Barber Chicken and the whole meal was on the table in just over 30 minutes.
Now Barber Chicken has improved their recipes and creating new packaging I was provided both the new and the old Barber Chicken with Broccoli & Cheese frozen meals. I placed both in the oven and cooked for 33 – 35 minutes. When cooking frozen chicken be sure to cook all the way through. You know the Chicken is done when it registers 165 degrees. Tasting the old and new dish side by side actually showed me the new dish is better. It was really good. If you want a quality meal that is tasty and ready in about 30 minutes, grab a package of Barber Foods Frozen Chicken.
