One of these days I will get bread making figured out. Â The smell in the house when it is baking and when it first comes out of the oven, can not be matched. Â Anyone who is in the house, runs downstairs to give it a try. Â Note to self, make bread, bring family together.
I am still struggling a little with the doneness of the bread. Â I cooked this at least 5 minutes longer than my recipe called for (I used my Old Fashioned White Bread post). Â That recipe used a loaf pan. Â I prefer the rustic look as well as the crustier outside of the bread. Â I think it makes for better grilling. Â You know there will be a future post about a grilled sandwich. Â You will have to comeback to see the creation. Â Yes, it involves another version of the faux Velveeta.
