This sandwich tasted awesome.  However, it was so messy.  The faux Monterrey Jack velveeta cheese is too melty ultimately for a sandwich.  But it was gooey good.  I used the Old fashioned white bread I made and as you can see it browned perfectly.  We also had made some guacamole.  What a nice complement to the cheese.  The flavor combination is definitely worth trying to recreate again.
Ingredients:
- 3 – 4 slices of the cheese
- 2 pieces of bread
- 2 – 3 spoonfuls of gaucamole
- butter for the griddle surface
Directions:
Heat the griddle to 325 degrees. Â Spread the guacamole on the bottom piece of bread and top with the cheese. Â Take the stick of butter and rub it on the griddle surface. Â Next, start the sandwich cheese side down on the griddle. Â Cook for 3 minutes or so and then flip. Â Cover with a top and cook for another 3 minutes. Â Enjoy!
